SAN DIEGO – September 28, 2015 – Port of San Diego Green Business Network 2015 Awards – This year, seven Network members received Sustainable Achievement Awards for demonstrating exemplary performance with sustainability initiatives. Each business submitted a questionnaire highlighting the sustainability initiatives implemented at their businesses over the past year. These businesses have shown dedication to incorporating sustainability into their daily business practices. Winning initiatives ranged from lighting retrofits to composting programs to employee awareness campaigns. The categories and winners included:

Air Emissions – Pacific Tugboat Service
Waste Reduction – Living Coast Discovery Center
Office Sustainability – Manchester Grand Hyatt
Employee Engagement – Point Loma Marina
Innovative Initiative – San Diego Convention Center
