When is the cleanup?
Saturday, November 22, 2025
- 8:30 to 9 a.m. – Check in at Gate 6
- 9 to 11 a.m. – Cleanup
- 11 to 11:30 a.m. – Raffles, prizes & snacks
Who can participate?
Anyone! This is a family-friendly volunteer event – bring as many helpers as you like.
Can I bring my pet?
For everyone’s safety, please leave pets at home.
Where do I park?
Street parking and NASSCO parking lots are available.
Handicap parking will be available along Harbor Drive.

What should I bring?
NASSCO will provide gloves, trash bags and pickers. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your own sunscreen!
Will there be food or drinks?
Water will be provided. Coffee and pastries will be available during check in, while supplies last.
What if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event.
Are there restrooms available nearby?
There are restrooms available outside of Gate 6, near Security Administration building.
Anything else I should know?
Stay after the cleanup for raffles, prizes and snacks!
Can I earn community service hours?
Students can earn community service hours.
What’s the goal?
To keep the face of our shipyard and nearby areas clean – and show pride in our workplace and community.
