NASSCO has been informed that two employees have tested presumptively positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). The first employee last worked on April 17, 2020, and after careful contact tracing we have determined that there were no close contacts with this individual at our facilities, as determined by CDC guidelines.

The second employee’s last day worked was also on April 17, 2020, in SOC 5. Individuals that were found to be in close contact with that employee have been notified. Per the updated CDC guidance, those close contact individuals that are asymptomatic will remain at work and be monitored daily.

All associated work areas have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. The recent cases have demonstrated the importance of wearing our face coverings at all times, and distancing ourselves whenever possible. By following these protocols, we will continue to minimize the spread of the virus. We are thankful for the dedication the employees and visitors have demonstrated during this time, and we ask that everyone continue to uphold that commitment.
