  1. This letter updates and supersedes NASSCO’s previous guidance published on March 20.
  2. Please read Enclosure (1) which provides NASSCO’s updated and revised questions we will use to screen all visitors or assess return to work readiness to our facility, premises or other facilities where NASSCO is working.
  3. Enclosure (2) describes and highlights our new text message alerts tool for updating our supply base. I strongly encourage all of our suppliers to enroll for these text message notifications.
  4. As a reminder, please keep us informed (email business.controls@nassco.com) of any impacts you are experiencing that affect your ability to provide material and services to NASSCO Shipyard.   5. In addition to the questions above, if any of your employees have visited a NASSCO facility, and have since been confirmed or is highly suspected (symptomatic, has been tested but results not yet returned) to have COVID-19, you must notify us via your contractual point of contact.

  1. General Dynamics NASSCO appreciates the material and services it receives from its trusted partners in the supplier base. We recognize that we cannot accomplish our mission without you, especially during an unprecedented event such as what we are experiencing now.
  2. Please read the attached communications from the President of NASSCO to its employees, as well as from Under Secretary of Defense Lord, NAVSEA and SWRMC to industry. Because you are part of our supplier base, these letters are meant for you as well as NASSCO. Our nation is counting on us to maintain our normal work schedule. At the same time, we are committed to doing all we can to preserve the health and safety of our employees and our suppliers’ employees while still continuing operations. We are all in this together.
  3. NASSCO recently updated the questions that visitors are being asked prior to entering the shipyard. NASSCO may deny access to persons showing risk of exposure to COVID-19. Please screen your own employees using these questions before deploying to NASSCO.
